Details:

First time you run ./autogen.sh on a fresh checkout, there's a warning:


configure.ac:110: warning: AC_RUN_IFELSE was called before AC_AIX
../../lib/autoconf/specific.m4:436: AC_AIX is expanded from...
configure.ac:110: the top level


It's not at all clear where "AC_RUN_IFELSE" came from. Posting the bug so I
don't forget about it.
